Compliance program as a tool in the fight against corruption in Ecuador

Abstract

The programs of compliance or compliance program aim to avoid the commission of crimes within a given organization, for this reason, in the face of the problem of corruption in our country, these programs emerge as a justified option to identify and sanction corrupt practices within an organization. However, the institution of the compliance program is not regulated in our country, which is why it is necessary to implement this institution in our legal system so that, from an effective prevention policy, we can benefit from the practice of compliance and its effects.
