Intellectual Property and development: Problems for the capitalization of intangible assets

Abstract

This article addresses issues related to the management of Intellectual Property from legislation and public policies and the importance it has in the sphere of social development at present, in addition it talks about the little interest paid by the academy Ecuadorian to study mechanisms to optimize the capitalization of intangible assets of Intellectual Property and thus allow the full enjoyment of its fruits by its owner, so that in the following lines some important aspects will be mentioned to be considered so that the management of Intellectual property rights in Ecuador reflect the needs of the fourth industrial revolution and the global market today.
