The constitutional right to work of people with disabilities: Integration processes in America.

Abstract

In the Ecuadorian State, the Right to work of people with disabilities is recognized in the Constitution, which provides for the recognition of the human right to work of people with disabilities under conditions of equal opportunities, which promotes their capabilities and recognizes their potential. All of this is also driven by the integration processes of Latin America that help member countries integrate and promote the development of labor inclusion. In this way, this study allowed us to analyze the right to work of people with disabilities from the advances or regression of the regional integration processes in Latin America compared to Europe and its integration system. This analysis revealed that in the countries of the region there is a need for regulations that enable the integration of people with disabilities in the labor field at the level of regional integration processes. This research was developed with the methodology of qualitative, documentary, analytical research and comparative study against European doctrine.
