SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Originality:
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under simultaneous review by other journals.

• Length:

  • Original articles: minimum 7,000 and maximum 10,000 words (excluding bibliography and footnotes).

  • Translations: relevant translations of legal research are accepted with the original author’s consent.

• Format:

  • File type: Word document (.docx).

  • Font: Gandhi Serif, size 11 (footnotes in size 9).

  • Line spacing: 1.5.

  • Standard margins: 2.5 cm.

  • Citation style: APA 7th edition, adapted to the legal field when applicable.

• Title, Abstract, and Keywords:

  • Title in both Spanish and English.

  • Abstract in both Spanish and English (maximum 200 words per version).

  • Keywords in both languages (5 to 6).

• Author Information:
Along with the manuscript, authors must include:

  • Full name.

  • Institutional affiliation (or indicate if independent).

  • ORCID link (mandatory).

  • Country of origin.

  • Short academic biography (max. 100 words).

  • Additional academic links (optional): Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.

EDITORIAL AND PEER REVIEW PROCESS

  1. Initial review: formal and thematic verification.

  2. Editorial Team review.

  3. Double-blind peer review with the following possible outcomes:

    • Approved without changes

    • Approved with minor revisions

    • Approved with major revisions

    • Rejected
      In case of discrepancies, a third review will be requested.

  4. Revisions and final review.

  5. Publication with DOI assignment.

• Submission Process:
Submissions are made exclusively through the RFJ OJS platform and must include:

  • The complete manuscript.

  • Full authorship information.

  • A cover letter certifying originality and non-duplication of the text.

• Writing Style:

  • A clear, precise, and argumentative style is recommended.

  • Avoid unnecessary technical jargon without explanation.

  • Prioritize clarity of argument and logical organization of content.

  • The use of inclusive language is encouraged.

• Publication Language:
The journal publishes manuscripts in Spanish and English.
